Thread and Butter Designs is an Australian based design and printing agency, with offerings specialising in creative branding and apparel printing.

THE DETAILS, PLEASE READ BEFORE PROCEEDING

MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY

SCREEN PRINTING / DIGITAL HYBRID PRINTING

We have a minimum of 30 units per design for printing.

EMBROIDERY

We have a minimum of 10 units per design. Anything below this is classified as sample pricing.

DIRECT TO FILM PRINTING

No minimum, but can be very expensive for less than 10 units.

VINYL PRINTING

We have a minimum of 10 units per design.

For re-orders of all, all of the above applies.

SET UP FEES AND EXPIRY

Screen printing set up fees are $50 +gst per position and colour. We keep screens set up for 3 months. Set ups will expire after 3 months. Reset fees after 3 months are $35+gst per position and colour.

Embroidery set up fees start at $60 +gst per design. Embroidery set ups do not expire.

Vinyl Printing, Direct to Film Printing and Digital Hybrid Printing have no set up fees.

GARMENT SUPPLY

We are a distributor for most blank apparel brands and can source most items you are after.

If you do wish to supply your own garments, it must be a minimum of 30 garments per design. They must be new, and not been worn or washed. If there is multiple designs, they must be clearly labelled and sorted. We are not responsible for the replacement of any garments that have misprints on them. So if you would like to provide extra garments to combat this you are welcome to.

Individually bagged or unsorted garments will incur a sorting fee per item. Garments must only be dropped off after an order has been placed and invoiced.

ARTWORK AND DESIGN FILES

We require certain types of files to be able to brand garments. Artwork/designs must be submitted in the following formats:

Vector files are the best and preferred. All fonts must be outlined - AI, EPS, PDF or SVG.

Photoshop - PSD files must be created in the desired print size or higher.

JPEG are only accepted at the size of the desired embroidery size. Can't be used for screen printing.

Any files outside these requirements may incur additional fees and production delays.

Digital proofs, PMS Colour and Sizing/Positioning

The digital proof we provide is referenced from a medium sized product you order and is used for reference only to check the scale and position of print before the job proceeds. The digital proof provided for each product may vary from final product.

Please provide PMS colours, or direction will be left up to Thread and Butter Designs to use colours from your design files provided. All due care will be taken to ensure print colours used match PMS colours provided as closely as possible. However due to the colour and nature of various materials. It is often impossible to obtain a 100% match.

Please provide exact print dimensions and positioning. We will base screen setup off the smallest item you order. If you require designs to appear larger on larger sized items, additional screen set ups will apply.

PAYMENT, CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

We require payment in full before we begin any production. We accept bank transfer and credit card payments.

Any changes after payment may incur re-stocking fees.

If you want to cancel your order before payment, totally fine. We will void your invoice.

If you cancel your order after payment, but before production, you are eligible to receive a full refund minus any re-stocking fees.

If you cancel your order during or after production, you are not eligible for a refund.

If you are not happy with your order once received, please email us within 48 hours of you receiving your order to try and rectify the concern.

DELIVERY, PICKUP AND TURNAROUND TIMES

We deliver all over Australia. Pricing depends on where you are and also how heavy your order is. We use a combination of couriers and Auspost. Once your order leaves our warehouse, it is out of our control. You will receive a shipping notification via email. Please make sure you provide us with the correct shipping details. Couriers and Aupost can delivery anytime between 9am and 6pm. Default is Signature on Delivery, however if you require Authority to Leave please let us know.

If you are in the vincinty of our Ballina warehouse, you are welcome to pickup your order.

Our turnaround times range from 3 to 5 weeks from full payment. Time frame is determined based on what you have ordered. Some things like re-labelling will take longer. If you need a rush order, we charge extra fees. Please let us know if you require this when ordering.

SAMPLES

If you require samples before bulk ordering, they will be charged at a higher price per unit. Please enquire for sample pricing.
